Erica Pinsky is a creative, dynamic, results-oriented
speaker, author and consultant whose passion is promoting respectful
workplace cultures where
employees feel engaged, comfortable and focused on their jobs. Erica
has worked with a myriad of organizations to assist them in
successfully managing the complex issues of discrimination,
harassment, bullying and destructive conflict in the workplace.
Erica’s work history
includes the public, private and non-profit sectors in both federal
and provincial jurisdictions. She is a gifted and passionate
presenter, possessing specific strengths in training, dispute
resolution, diagnostic and analytic thinking, with a track record of
policy development, implementation of organizational practices and
motivation of people and teams.
Prior to starting her
consulting practice in 1998, Erica was responsible for
administration of the corporate harassment policy including
adjudication of complaints of discrimination and harassment at
Canadian Airlines International.
Erica also acted as the corporate
advisor in the area of workplace conflict at Canadian Airlines. This
experience combined with her prior work as a Labour Relations
practitioner have allowed her to become accomplished at facilitating
multi-party disputes, investigating and mediating complaints and in
handling emotionally charged conflict situations.
Erica has a Bachelor of
Arts in Political Sociology from the University of Toronto, a
Masters of Science in Industrial Relations from the Université de
Montreal and a Conflict Resolution Certificate from the Justice
Institute of British Columbia.
Erica has received her
Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation through
the British Columbia Human Resources Management Association, and the
CHRP designation is recognized throughout Canada.
Erica
is a professional member of the Canadian Association of Professional
Speakers. She is also a member of the Canadian Conflict Resolution
Network, the Society for Human Resource Management, and the BC Human
Resources Management Association.
